j,ai un one pound ,bank of biafra mais je ne vois aucune date

Scorpion,there are 2 issues of the Biafran banknotes.The 1 Pound of the 2nd. issue (1969) is THE banknote that always turns up.It is catalogued at around US$3 in Unc.

Scorpion,you're welcome.As seen as I can't communicate in Quebecois,I hope that expressing myself in English will go down well,as I come from the Dominion du Nouvelle Zelande (Dominion of New Zealand),which is about 10,000 miles from Quebec.

La Loutre,my command of Parisian French is very poor,I must admit,so if I know the French word for something,I will use it with the English translation.
I know how distinctive the Quebecois language is,as my boss was in Paris,France late last year.He bumped into 2 Quebecoise who told him that the French couldn't understand them when they were speaking in Quebecois,so they were forced to speak to the French people - in English! You shouldn't feel ashamed.
